Why are we going?

It will be an enjoyable life changing experience.

The stories I have heard just sound awesome.

For the experience.

It is a great opportunity.

It will be an experience that I will never forget.

A challenge that I want to achieve.

A great chance to meet new friends.

To find out more about the war.

To strengthen friendships.

To experience some of what the Aussie soldiers went through.

To see if I can make it.

To do something new.

Always keen for a challenge.

An interesting experience.

I want to achieve my best, and this will help me do so.

My dad and sister have done it , and loved it.

What scares us most about going to Kokoda?

Mosquitoes, they will eat me alive.

Going to another country.

Not being fit enough.

Going overseas.

Walking across the small bridges.

Getting bitten by some freaky bug.

The hills.

Not washing hair.

Snakes !!

Lack of sleep.

The uphill parts.

Getting hurt & having to go out early.

Flying in an aeroplane.

Temperatures above 30.

Carrying a bag while walking.

Fear of the unknown.

Getting hurt.

Waking up early.

Not much.

The machettes.

What are we most looking forward to?

Meeting new people and experiencing a new culture.

The ANZAC Day Service.

Getting fitter.

Going to another country.

Sharing the experience with close friends, and strengthening our friendships.

Going on  a plane.

I'm excited about the whole thing, I can't wait to go.

Having the experience of  following in the footsteps of our soldiers.

Spending time with mates and turning 18 while in PNG.

The downhill bits.

The challenge.

The history.

Walking for 2 weeks.

Seeing the landscape and learning the history.

Seeing the landscape.

Looking forward to learning the history.

All the new experiences.

The whole thing.

The feeling after finishing the track.
